The best Meal(using flyers)

Title: The Best Meal!


Procedure(3 periods)
1. Give students English and Korean flyers each and make them find similarities and
differences between them.(pair work)

2. Share students’ findings and talk about American measurements and currency.

3. Make students in groups and ask them to make shopping lists for cooking a meal.
Give each group a budget limitation(50 dollars) / Make each group set a menu

4. Each group makes their own selling list too. (At most 9 items they can sell)

5. 2 stay 2 go: 2 students be sellers and 2 students be customers and practice buying and selling things in English.(information gap activity)

6. Each group presents what they have and have a vote for the best menu in the class.
